We have partnered with DHL, a globally recognized and trusted shipping carrier, to ensure that your orders are handled with the utmost care and efficiency, and a tracking number is supplied 24 hours after the order is processed and dispatched from our warehouse via email.

Netherlands/Belgium – €4,99 (Free for orders over €150)

Delivery time: 1 working day – Order before 23:00 for next day delivery.

France – €6,99 (Free for orders over €150)

Delivery time: 1-3 working days

Europe – €10.99 (Free for orders over €150)

Order Tracking:

To keep you informed about the status of your order, we provide order tracking services. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment in real-time.

Delivery Guarantee:

While we make every effort to meet our estimated delivery timeline, unforeseen circumstances such as weather events or customs delays may occasionally impact delivery times. Rest assured that we are committed to ensuring that your order reaches you as quickly as possible, and we will do our best to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.

30 Day Return Policy

We understand that the lighting or decor you purchased may not ultimately be what you had in mind, and we want to make sure you are happy with the final product. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of delivery.

“As-New” Condition

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original unmarked packaging with all parts and product and installation guides. “As-New” condition means that if you were to receive the item, you would accept it as new.

Exceptions

In the rare event that an item is damaged in transit or arrives defective, we will act quickly to resolve the issue for you. The responsibility to inspect items upon delivery (and prior to scheduling installation) falls on the customer. Proper inspection upon arrival will prevent any delays in the returns process, as well as any unnecessary installation fees.
If you notice any damage, please contact us immediately so that we can initiate the return or replacement process.
Capitol Lighting assumes no responsibility for costs incurred for installation and/or assembly.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please have your order number ready when you make your return request. You may submit your request via any of the methods listed below:

Sign into your account and request your return in the order history section.

For regular-sized items, you will receive an email with our FedEx return shipping label attached.

You can then drop the item at a convenient FedEx location or call 1-800-GOFEDEX to have it picked up.
You can track the progress of your return using the FedEx website and the tracking number information.
Please ensure the item is well packed in its original packaging. Other than the return label, please do not write or mark on the box in any way.

Large items shipping by freight carrier require some coordination, and we will work with you and the freight company in your area to schedule the pick-up.

It will be your responsibility to be physically present at the time the freight company arrives to retrieve the item.
The transportation company chosen to retrieve the product to be returned will be UPS, FedEx or DHL.
Please ensure the item is well packed in its original packaging. Other than the bill of lading, please do not write or mark on the box in any way.

Return Fee

Please note that we will deduct a 0% return fee from your refund to cover shipping and handling costs.

Return Credit

Upon receipt at the return destination, the item’s condition will be inspected for “as new” condition, and once confirmed, we will process your credit.

Refund must be completed via the same method in which the item was purchased.
We are unable to provide a refund on orders placed outside of the last 6 months.

Important Information

To avoid any issues, please do not request a chargeback from your credit card company during the return process. Initiating a chargeback can void your ability to receive any credit at all.

Made to Order

When it comes to a design process, we believe having variety and the flexibility to customize each item to the exact size and finishes that you want is necessary. In modern times, we should not be limited to only what is left in stock.
We work with over 100 of the best design brands and each of them have unique finishes. We have done our best to provide you with as many options as possible online, without overwhelming.

How it Works:

Once you place your order that is made to order, we will release the order to the manufacturer(s) as soon as we receive the payment. The manufacturer will begin production on the item and once it is completed, we ship it to you right away.

Deposit:

For online orders, a made to order item must be paid 100% in advance. If the customer is placing the order from the showroom, we require a 50% paid deposit to confirm the order.

Finishes:

Materials and upholstered items can slightly vary in the production due to several reasons. For example, wood may have natural inconsistencies in the gains. Marble may have slight variations in the veins. Designitch is not responsible for textile and material variations.
